I’m a massive fan of sport and so this show was my favourite during the 90′s i never thought i would hear from the boys again after it finished a couple of years ago but i saw this game being advertised so i thought it was worth a buy as i was buying some games for my kids.
I was really happy with it, the comedy is still there from Nick and Rory and i really laughed at Rory during the name game at the end.
I couldn’t beleive they got away with some of the stuff they came out with but it made the gmae so funny, and the questions were really interesting, not just the boring trivia that you find on some games the injuries board was amazing!
I really enjoyed this game and hope there is a sequel next year…maybe the show could come back too!

This was one of the funniest TV quiz shows. In this DVD, the atmosphere is gone. It’s just you, Nick and Rory – and most of the time, it’s just you. Most of the questions are shown on the screen, and whilst sometimes Nick explains the answers afterwards, there’s not the interaction there.
The questions usually have three different answers – not enough, especially when usually one of the answers is obviously wrong. Getting the right answer is the best thing in the world – actually, no; it’s just you getting another point.
There are too few “That’s right” and “That’s wrong” scenes – it repeats very quickly. The humour is not high – there are some half-jokes, but they are not really funny.
The scoreboard is shown after every round, but it takes a fair while, which slows the game down.
There are 8 rounds in this game which takes about half an hour to play:
1. Celebrations and excuses,
2. Sporting bluff,
3. Photo-fit (difficult),
4. Injury board,
5. Author, author,
6. Feel the sportsman (Sportsman not included!)
7. Handbags
8. The name game. The best one, where Rory describes sportsmen in 10 seconds. However, if you don’t know sports well, it’s difficult to get the name in the time available.
Overall, best served in good company. Well, good tipsy company who like sports. And no more than 12 times – that’s all the different games on the DVD.
